Abstract

A method and a mobile terminal for controlling a Bluetooth Low Energy device are provided. A method of using a mobile terminal to control at least one Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device is provided. The method comprises searching for at least one BLE device and displaying a BLE device list including the at least one BLE device on a display unit of the mobile terminal. The method further comprises receiving an input selecting a BLE device from the BLE device list, receiving an input from a user including user added information regarding the selected BLE device, and mapping and storing the user added information regarding the selected BLE device and notification information.
