Abstract

The input method is applied to an electronic device. The electronic device comprises a physical keyboard, wherein the physical keyboard at least comprises a press key. The input method includes: detecting a first operation which directs at a first press key in the physical keyboard; judging whether the first operation meets a first operation mode or a second operation mode; when the first operation meets the first operation mode, inputting first press key information corresponding to the first press key; when the first operation meets the second operation mode, inputting second press key information corresponding to the first press key. The first press key information is different from the second press key information. The input method and the input device are applied to the information inputting process.
