[0069] Example 1: Color reproduction from LCD display to color inkjet printer

[0070] ·Experimental equipment: Samsung 22-inch SyncMaster2233 liquid crystal display (LCD), resolution 1680×1050, has been used for 7000h, and the display effect is good; the display is warmed up for more than 2 hours before measurement; Epson Stylus Photo R270 color inkjet printer.

[0071] Observation conditions: Displayed in a dark room, the printed sample is placed in the standard F2 light source of the Huisi color light box; the observer observes that the display is as vertical as possible to the printed color block or image, and the observer is 0.6 meters away from the display screen and the printed color block or image.

[0072] · Observers: 5 people (laboratory postgraduate students, 3 males and 2 females, aged 24-26 years old), the visual acuity of the left and right eyes is above 1.2 or above 1.2 after correction, and they have normal color vision.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for achieving color correction from a display to a printer through human eyes, and belongs to the field of the color science and technology. The method comprises a training process and a correction process. The training process comprises four steps of firstly, estimating the gamma value of the display through the human eye vision; secondly, printing thirty sample color blocks and placing the sample color blocks under a print body observation environment; thirdly, displaying the thirty sample color blocks under a display environment, adjusting the color blocks one by one to match the color blocks with the colors of print color blocks so that corresponding color data of the thirty samples can be obtained; fourthly, obtaining a color space transformation matrix through the corresponding color data and a color appearance matching equation. In the correction process, the display color space is switched to the printer color space through the transformation matrix to conduct printing in practical application. The method for achieving color correction from the display to the printer through human eyes has the advantages that the method is suitable for any display and any printer open loop system without any measurement instrument or technical training, and suitable for any observation condition required by users; the method is simple and visual and allows colors of color desktops selected by the ordinary users according to applications to reappear.

Description

Technical field: [0001] The invention relates to a method for realizing color correction from a display to a printer by using human eyes, belongs to the field of color science and technology, and is a desktop color management method. Background technique: [0002] As color digital image devices have been widely used and popularized, and people have higher and higher requirements for image color, the realization of accurate color transfer and color reproduction between various devices has become a research hotspot in this field. A color management system (Color Management System, CMS) is a management software that converts one input device color space into another output device color space. The purpose is to achieve the consistency of color transfer between different devices, which is often said "What you see is what you get" [1,2] . The International Color Consortium (ICC), established in 1993, proposed a CMS architecture [3,4] , whose core is the "color characteristic de...
