Abstract

Systems and methods for leveling loudness variations of audio signals are described. Embodiments Standard-specific loudness measurements use perceptual leveling algorithms together with standards-based loudness measurements to minimize audio processing artifacts and ensure that the measured loudness of the processed audio is close to the required measurement. These systems and methods can be used offline or in real time.
