The invention relates to novel application of an I-type alpha 1 chain, and in particular relates to application of the I-type alpha 1 chain in diagnosing non-small cell lung cancer and application of an antagonist of the I-type alpha 1 chain in preparing a medicine for treating non-small cell lung cancer.
