Abstract

The invention provides a terminal and a terminal control method. An application is installed in the terminal. The terminal comprises a display screen, a back surface and side surfaces. The terminal further comprises a control member and a control unit, wherein the control member is disposed on the back surface or the side surfaces of the terminal; the control member is used to receive a first operation from a user, and convert the first operation into a first electrical signal; and the control unit receives the first electrical signal and generates a control signal according to the first electrical signal, so as to control displaying of the web page or video corresponding to the application.
