Abstract

The present invention relates to the technical field of graphic image processing. Disclosed in an embodiment of the invention are a static object reconstruction method and system. In the embodiment of the invention, when a static object reconstruction system calculates external camera parameters based on three-dimensional feature points, if the external camera parameters are not calculated within a preset time, then the depth data acquired by a depth camera is lost or corrupted; therefore, employing two-dimensional feature points to calculate the external camera parameters achieves alignment of the point clouds in a frame of image according to the external camera parameters. By fusing the two-dimensional feature points and the three-dimensional feature points, a static object can be reconstructed successfully when the depth data acquired by a depth camera is lost or corrupted.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of graphics and image processing, in particular to a static object reconstruction method and system. Background technique [0002] Object reconstruction has many applications in the fields of computer graphics and computer vision, such as movie special effects, three-dimensional graphics (Three Dimensions, 3D) games, virtual reality and human-computer interaction, etc. Most reconstruction systems can reconstruct detailed 3D models. These reconstruction systems mainly use multiple synchronous cameras or 3D scanning devices (such as laser and structured light cameras) to collect object information and then model them, but expensive equipment, The complex and cumbersome user interface greatly limits the application of these reconstruction systems. Since Microsoft launched the Kinect depth camera, the RGB-D camera derived from it has been widely used in research related to object modeling due to its cheap price...
