Abstract

The invention discloses a global load balancing method and a server for realizing hybrid scheduling, wherein when a service request which is transmitted by a user terminal is received, destination address information which is included in the service request is extracted; the destination address information is converted to the destination address conversion information which agrees with an IPv6 protocol; resource matching is performed according to the destination address conversion information for determining a CDN server resource pool which is related with the destination address conversion information; and by means of a global load balancing strategy, an optimal CDN server relative to the user terminal is selected from the CDN server resource pool. Whether the destination address conversion information contains a specific prefix is determined, and if yes, the address of the optimal CDN server is transmitted to the user terminal according to an IPv4 protocol; and otherwise, the address of the optimal CDN server is transmitted to the user terminal according to the IPv6 protocol. Therefore the user with different addresses can share the CDN resource.

Description

Technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of communications, in particular to a global load balancing method and server for realizing hybrid scheduling. Background technique [0002] The global Internet IPv4 (Internet Protocol version 4, Internet Protocol version 4) address is in a very scarce situation, and the introduction of IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6, Internet Protocol version 6) has improved the overall performance of the network and improved the quality of service. Effectively solve the problem of the shortage of network addresses, so the application of IPv6 addresses is accelerating. [0003] The conversion of IPv4 addresses to IPv6 addresses is a long-term process. During this period, there are multiple coexistence methods, such as dual stack, V4 single stack, V6 single stack, etc. There are also multiple technologies for IPv4 and IPv6 network intercommunication, and the networking is very complicated. [0004] For CDN (Content Delivery Network...
