Problems solved by technology

However, if a reading unit for image reading for storing image data and a reading unit for image reading for judging whether a decolorized sheet can be reused are provided separately, there will be a problem of cost increase.
In addition, if the sheet passes through the decolorizing section when only the reading process is performed, it takes time to process

no. 1 approach

[0032] The image erasing device of the first embodiment reads an image by the same reading unit before and after erasing the image.

[0033] figure 1 It is a system configuration diagram of the first embodiment. As a system configuration, the image storage system includes, for example, a plurality of image decolorizing devices 100 , a plurality of client PCs (Personal Computers: personal computers) 101 , and a server 102 . In addition, the various components of the system are connected to each other through the network 103 .

[0034] figure 2 It is a structural diagram of the image decolorizing device. In the image erasing apparatus 100, the erasable coloring material (recording medium) on which an image has been formed by the image forming unit with an erasable coloring material such as erasable toner or ink is erased by the erasing unit ( Hereinafter simply referred to as "recording material) "decolorization process" of the color of the image formed. The image erasing ...

[0063] Figure 7 to Figure 15 The image erasing apparatus of the second embodiment shown has a plurality of processing modes. In the drawings, the same symbols are attached to the same structural parts as those of the first embodiment.

[0064] The first mode is the decolorization mode, the second mode is the reading mode, and the third mode is the discrimination mode. The fourth mode is a combination of reading and decolorization, the fifth mode is a combination of decolorization and discrimination, and the sixth mode is a combination of reading, decolorization and discrimination.

[0065] The decolorizing device 100 of the present embodiment includes: a paper supply unit 10 for supplying sheets; a paper discharge unit (first paper discharge unit 19 and second paper discharge unit 20) for discharging recording media; 10 towards the first conveying path 11 of the conveying path of the paper discharge part; the reading part 13 is arranged on the first conveying path 11 for re...

no. 3 approach

[0108] Figure 16 to Figure 20 The image erasing device according to the third embodiment shown here performs reading processing, erasing processing, and sorting processing for a plurality of sheets in succession, shifts the processing for each sheet, and performs parallel processing. In the drawings, the same symbols are attached to the same structural parts as those of the first embodiment. Arrows in the figure indicate the direction in which the paper P travels.

[0109] When decolorizing the first sheet of paper P, the processing is performed in the following order: the reading process is performed by the first reading unit 13A and the second reading unit 13B as the reading unit, and then the decolorizing unit 15 performs the reading process. In the decolorization process, the reading process is performed again by the first reading unit 13A and the second reading unit 13B, and the classification process of judging whether it can be reused is performed. When focusing on a...
