Embodiment Construction

[0035] As discussed in the background section, there are certain shortcomings in the field of known lipless toilet designs and in the way flush water is introduced into such toilets. This application discloses various embodiments intended to solve one or more of these deficiencies, which will be discussed in more detail below.

[0036] According to an exemplary embodiment, an improved lipless toilet is configured to provide effective body cleaning, simple cleaning, and simplified low-cost manufacturing. According to this embodiment, the water from the toilet box flows through a single jet orifice (for example, a hole, a lip orifice, etc.) provided at the top of the toilet body toward the rear of the toilet body. The water flows around the inner periphery of the barrel onto the partitions (eg, steps, ledges, plateaus, protrusions, etc.), which allows to flow completely around the periphery of the barrel from a single orifice. By controlling the shape, angle, length and depth of t...

Abstract

A toilet includes a bowl having a vertically-elongated jet orifice near a top of the bowl that is designed to introduce flush water into the bowl from an interior water channel through a surface of an inner wall of the bowl, such that the flush water is directed around the inner wall of the bowl to wash the inner wall. The toilet also includes a shelf for directing the flush water. The toilet is a gravity-fed toilet that does not include an overhanging rim.

Description

[0001] Cross references to related applications [0002] This application claims the priority and rights of US Provisional Patent Application No. 61 / 968,718 filed on March 12, 2014, the entire content of which is incorporated herein for reference. Technical field [0003] This application generally relates to the field of toilets (for example, flush toilets, flush toilets, etc.). According to one aspect of the present application, a rimless toilet includes improved jet holes (for example, orifices, holes, spouts, etc.) to more effectively use flushing water to clean the toilet bowl. Another aspect of the present application relates to improved partitions for lipless toilets (eg, ledges, steps, body surface shapes, etc.), which are configured to more effectively guide flushing water around the toilet body, and Clean the surface of the barrel. One or both of these advantageous features may be adopted in a specific toilet according to an exemplary embodiment. Background technique ...
