The present invention discloses a strawberry extract containing cold food and a preparation method thereof. The strawberry extract containing cold food consists of the following components in parts by weight: 8-10 parts of strawberry extract, 5-8 parts of white sugar, 1-2 parts of lemon juice, 1-2 parts of starch and the balance being water to a total of 100 parts. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) according to the formula amount, the starch is added into water with 25% of formula amount, the mixture is blended into a paste, and the paste is filtered to obtain a first filtrate; (2) according to the formula amount, the white sugar is added into water with 25% of formula amount and the mixture is stirred evenly and filtered by virtue of a gauze to obtain a second filtrate; (3) the first filtrate and the second filtrate are mixed, boiled and sterilized, and the strawberry extract, lemon juice and the left water are added into the sterilized mixture, and the mixture is stirred evenly; and (4) the obtained mixture in the step (3) is cooled and poured into a cold food mold to be frozen. The cold food preparation method is simple and convenient, has no more additives, is good in taste, can prevent summer heat and lower temperature, and is nutritional and healthy.
