Abstract

The invention discloses a sterilization composition containing metrafenone and fluxapyroxad and an application of the sterilization composition. The sterilization composition is prepared from the first effective active ingredient metrafenone and the second effective active ingredient fluxapyroxad. The weight ratio of the first active ingredient to the second active ingredient is 1:80 to 80:1, and is preferably 1:40 to 40:1. The composition can be prepared into a suspending agent, microemulsion, emulsion in water, a dispersible oil suspending agent, wettable powder and water dispersible granules which are agriculturally allowed. The sterilization composition is reasonable in component and good in sterilization effect, and the activity and sterilization effect of the sterilization composition are not achieved simply by overlapping the activity of all the components. Compared with an existing single preparation, the remarkable sterilization effect is achieved, besides, the remarkable synergistic effect is achieved, and safety for crops is good. The sterilization composition has the remarkable preventing and controlling effect on crop powdery mildew.
