Abstract

The invention discloses a method, wireless network SDN controller and system for switching cells. The method comprises the following steps: when a measurement report sent by a user terminal is received and it is determined that a switching condition is satisfied, sending a switching request to a core network SDN controller; issuing corresponding uplink and downlink data flow table rules to object access points; issuing corresponding data forwarding flow table rules to source access points; sending switching indication to the user terminal through the source access points; when an air interface switching completion message sent by the user terminal through the object access points is received, sending a path conversion request to the core network SDN controller; and when the object access points receive all caching data forwarded by the source access points, indicating the source access points to delete the data forwarding flow table rules and releasing occupied wireless resources. According to the invention, by use of an SDN network architecture, data forwarding and route control are separated, the requirement for the transmission bandwidth between cells is reduced, and a unified platform is provided for cross-system switching.
