Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide a video transmission method. The method comprises the following steps that a server converts an original frame of a first video into an expression frame of the first video and converts an original frame of a second video into an expression frame of the second video, wherein the expression frame of the first video and the expression frame of the second video have the same resolution and the same bit depth; the server determines an average pixel value of pixel points of the expression frame of the first video and the expression frame of the second video whichhave the same timestamp, and determines a third video according to the average pixel value; the server encodes the third video; and the server sends the encoded third video to a client. A problem ofhigh bandwidth demand under a condition of high concurrency is solved.
