The method comprises the following steps: receiving a health check-up report sent by a front end, wherein the health check-up report is corresponding to a health check-up letter, and the health check-up letter is generated according to an insurance application needing health check-up; obtaining health check-up information in the health check-up report and an insurance type in the insurance application needing the health check-up; according to the insurance type, obtaining evaluation rules corresponding to the health check-up information; and comparing the health check-up information with the evaluation rules, and according to a comparison result, generating an insurance checking decision for the insurance application needing the health check-up. By using the method provided by the invention, the insurance checking efficiency of insurance applications receiving health check-up letters can be effectively improved.
