Abstract

The present invention relates to apparatus and methods for field testing electrical panel meter systems. An electrical panel meter system may include a plurality of meter modules housed in an electrical panel housing. Each meter module may be configured to sample electrical readings related to electrical power provided to a corresponding branch circuit of the electrical panel meter system. For field testing of the assay accuracy of each meter module, a field tester may be coupled to the electrical panel enclosure. A field tester can inject electrical signals via test conductors provided in the electrical panel enclosure. A test conductor can be coupled to each meter module.
