The crossing assist device comprises two pulley blocks, wherein the two pulley blocks are connected through a connecting rod; the distance between the two pulley blocks can be adjusted through the connecting rod; and an upper-phase wire is located at the lower part of a pulley in each pulley block. The crossing assist device can be arranged on the upper-phase wires as a crossing structure for replacing a common overhead ground wire with an OPGW optical cable. An increase of compensation for crops caused by land occupation of a common console crossing structure is avoided; the influence of a cooperative power failure of a crossed circuit on the power supply reliability is avoided; the risk caused by a high-altitude routing operation is reduced; and the crossing construction reliability is improved.
