Abstract

The backboard at least comprises one or more backboard slot positions and an interface for transmission of a data message; each backboard slot position comprises a primary network port and a standby network port; one end of the standby network port is connected with the interface; and one end of the primary network port and the other end of the standby network port are respectively connected with different ports of a switch chip of a service single board. Through the scheme of the backboard, provided by the invention, one standby network port is newly added to the backboard slot position, thus, when the primary network port is faulty, the standby network port can be switched quickly for use, and the service single board is guaranteed to work regularly when the primary network port is ineffective.
