A system and method in accordance with the present invention determines in real-time the portions of a set of characters from a data or character stream which satisfies one or more predetermined regular expressions. A Real-time Deterministic Finite state Automaton (RDFA) ensures that the set of characters is processed at high speeds with relatively small memory requirements. An optimized state machine models the regular expression(s) and state related alphabet lookup and next state tables are generated. Characters from the data stream are processed in parallel using the alphabet lookup and next state tables, to determine whether to transition to a next state or a terminal state, until the regular expression is satisfied or processing is terminated. Additional means may be implemented to determine a next action from satisfaction of the regular expression.

The ESD protection cells are tested using the TLP (Transmission Line Pulse) technique, and ESD standards including HBM (Human Body Model), MM (Machine Model), and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) IEC 1000-4-2 standard for ESD immunity. ESD protection performance is demonstrated also at high temperature (140° C.). The unique high ratio of dual-polarity ESD protection level per unit area, allows for integration of fast-response and compact protection cells optimized for the current tendency of the semiconductor industry toward low cost and high density-oriented IC design. Symmetric / asymmetric dual polarity ESD protection performance is demonstrated for over 15 kV HBM, 2 kV MM, and 16.5 kV IEC for sub-micron technology.

During a targeting technique, a machine model is generated based on content-interaction data that specifies interactions of users of a social network, with categorical content corresponding to predefined interest segments. The content-interaction data may include viewing of the categorical content and sharing of the categorical content with other users of the social network. This machine-learning model is then used to calculate scores for the users based on the attributes in their profiles that indicate probabilities of their interest in additional categorical content. Moreover, based on the calculated scores, a subset of the users is associated with an interest segment. For example, the users may be ranked based on their calculated scores, and the subset may be those users having scores exceeding a threshold or a predefined value. Furthermore, advertisements may be targeted to the users in the subset based on the association with the interest segment.

Method and structure for automated switching between multiple contexts in a storage subsystem target device

In a storage target device controller capable of managing multiple command contexts, methods and associated apparatus are provided for automatically managing the plurality of contexts using a state machine model. The state machine model is operable on a target device controller having an active context register set for processing of the presently active transfer on the host channel and an inactive context register set for storing an inactive context. The active context register set and inactive context register set are rapidly and automatically swapped by operation of the state machine model to resume or start processing of an inactive context. Additional inactive contexts are stored in a buffer memory associated with the target device controller. The inactive context register set is automatically stored into a selected one of the additional inactive contexts or loaded from a selected one of the additional inactive contexts by operation of the state machine model of the present invention. The state machine model performs appropriate swap, load, and store operations for contexts in accordance with priorities to improve performance of the target device. The highest priority is an auto-write context corresponding to a write command for which data will be imminently received on the host channel. The next priority is the disk context so as to provide sufficient host channel activity to maintain continuous disk channel operation. The last priority is any other context corresponding to any other command which is neither an auto-write context or the present disk context.

The method includes the following steps of: collecting historical data of a wind power generation set SCADA system, screening out the active power, wind speed, cabin temperature, principle shaft rotation speed and gearbox oil temperature of the set under the healthy operation condition, and establishing a standard expert database; optimizing the penalty coefficient and the nuclear parameter of a least squares support vector regression machine by using a gravitational search algorithm, and establishing a gearbox oil temperature mapping model under the healthy operation condition by taking the active power, wind speed, cabin temperature, principle shaft rotation speed in the expert database as inputs and the gearbox oil temperature as an output and based on the optimized vector machine model; monitoring the gearbox of the wind power generation set in real time by using the mapping model, inputting the actually measured values of the active power, wind speed, cabin temperature and principle shaft rotation speed to obtain the predicted value of the gearbox oil temperature, defining the quotient of the predicted value of the oil temperature and the actually measured value as a judging index, and judging that a failure occurs in the gearbox of the wind power generation set and giving an alarm, if the statistical property of the judging index is abnormal. The method can be widely applied to early warning of the gearbox of the wind power generation set.

The invention discloses a support vector machine (SVM) based prediction method for the degradation tendency of super-capacitor capacitance value. The prediction method utilizes the regression function of the support vector machine to predict the degradation tendency of the super capacitor capacitance value and comprises: 1) pre-processing the input value and the output value; 2) carrying out trainings to the training set data for a regression estimation function; 3) using the particle swarm optimization algorithm to automatically optimize the relevant parameters of the support vector machine; 4) according to the optimization result, configuring the corresponding parameter values of the support vector machine; substituting the training set data into a correlation vector machine model to obtain a regression prediction model for the degradation tendency of the capacitance value; and 5) substituting the training set data into the regression prediction model to obtain the degradation tendency of the capacitance value. According to the invention, it is possible to conduct online prediction to the degradation tendency of the capacitance value. Through the introduction of a particle swarm optimization algorithm to modify the parameter optimization method, the prediction efficiency and accuracy of the algorithm are increased so that it can be applied in a larger scope.
