The method can be applied to a user host connected with the Internet via the BRAS, and comprises the steps of sending a PPPoE active discovery initiation (PADI) message to trigger a PPPoE active discovery offer (PADO) message fed back by the BRAS receiving the PADI message, wherein the PADO carries a load parameter currently corresponding to the BRAS; receiving the PADO; determining the load parameter corresponding to the BRAS according to the PADO; and determining the accessed BRAS according to the load parameter.
