Abstract

The invention provides a service rate control method of controlling a plane time synchronization queue and an apparatus thereof. The method comprises the following steps of according to a preset identification, establishing a time synchronization queue; acquiring a current first reservation service rate and a first actual service rate of the time synchronization queue; determining whether the first actual service rate is greater than the first reservation service rate; and if the first actual service rate is greater than the first reservation service rate, reducing the first reservation service rate. In the scheme, through constructing the independent time synchronization queue, the first reservation service rate is adjusted in real time so that the first actual service rate approaches the first reservation service rate; a synchronized message has determined preset fixing time delay in a switch so that an effect of preventing delay jitter is realized; and under the condition that an effective bandwidth of the switch is not occupied, a purpose of consuming waiting ''time'' of the synchronized message is reached and a possibility of dropping a synchronous package at a queue tail portion is reduced.
