Abstract

The invention provides a position determination method for drilling four holes in a runner cone of a water turbine. The method comprises the steps that numerical simulation calculation is carried out by adopting a numerical simulation method to obtain a low-pressure area range of the runner cone; the detail of a vortex strip of tail water is observed by utilizing a high-speed photography imaging system to determine the position where the vortex strip is initially generated; and punching operation is performed according to the position where the vortex strip is initially generated, specifically the four holes are drilled in the runner cone, the runner cone with the four holes to be drilled is punched into the runner cone with two holes which are drilled oppositely along the axis of the short and straight runner cone, and on the basis of the runner cone with the two holes, the other two holes are further drilled vertically and oppositely in the positions relatively close to the lower parts of the previous two holes. The method solves the problem of unsteady flow in a water turbine set in the prior art, and especially the problems of the vortex strip in a draft tube and corresponding pressure pulsation.
