Embodiments of the invention disclose a static page processing method and apparatus, which is used for solving the problem of errors in business interactive logic or unnecessary burden of a server caused by calling model related data for the server again. A first static HTML page cached in the server not only comprises an HTML tag and a first script code used for defining or declaring script variables of the page, but also comprises a second script code used for updating a script variable value of at least one script variable in the first script code, so that when a client requests for the page to the server, the server sends the first static HTML page comprising the second script code to the client, and the client updates the script variable value of the at least one script variable in the first script code according to the second script code after rendering the page requested by the client according to the HTML tag and the first script code.
