The invention discloses a device for accommodating liquid and subsequently discharging liquid. The device comprises a container, a drainage opening, a liner and a sealing component, wherein the container is provided with an inner surface and an open top; the drainage opening communicates with a drainage pipeline; the liner is applied to the inner surface so as to accommodate the liquid therein and the liner can cover the drainage opening; pressure from the liquid is stressed on the liner at the drainage opening downwards as the drainage opening is sealed by the liner; the sealing component is arranged in a pipeline at the downstream side of the drainage opening; the sealing component can be operated and moved to a sealing position and the sealing component can be operated and moved to an opening position; and the liner is arranged in a mode of being opposite to the drainage opening, so that the liner at the drainage opening becomes broken to respond to the downward pressure of the liquid along with release of backing pressure. Correspondingly, the invention also provides a method for accommodating liquid and subsequently discharging the liquid. The liquid container provided by the invention is clean and sanitary, and the liquid container, which is unnecessary to clean, is convenient to use.
