Abstract

The invention provides a method and device for displaying controls of applications. The method comprises the following steps of: displaying a control of an application on a desktop; receiving an operation for the control; and in response to the operation, switching the control from a first mode to a second mode, wherein the first mode is one of an icon mode and a component mode, and the second mode is one of the iron mode and the component mode.
