[0093] Patient Selection and Specimen Collection Methods
[0094] In one study, subjects who underwent all-HSCT at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) between 1994 and 2013 were retrospectively analyzed for the effect of antibiotics on clinical outcomes. Consists of 283 adult patients. Patients who received conventional grafts (non-T cell-depleted) were included in this study; patients who received ex vivo T-cell-depleted grafts or peritransplantation alemtuzumab were excluded. During the transplant hospitalization, weekly stool samples were collected and stored. The study was approved by the Institutional Review Board of MSKCC. All study patients provided written informed consent for the collection and analysis of biological specimens.
