An interactive virtual reality fire drill system comprises a host system, a first display device and a simulative hand-held fire extinguisher, wherein the host system is provided with a first information module which is set to generate first 3D virtual information which represents a virtual fire scene; the first display device is set to display the occurrent virtual fire scene according to the first 3D virtual information, and the simulative hand-held fire extinguisher has an external outline same as that of a true hand-held fire extinguisher. The simulative hand-held fire extinguisher comprises a cylinder part, a pair of handles which are arranged on the cylinder part and an induction device which is arranged inside the cylinder part and set to enable a trainee to operate the handles according to the first 3D virtual information displayed by the first display device, the host system generates new first 3D virtual information according to the operation situation of the handles so that the trainee can see a changed virtual fire scene. The virtual reality technology is applied to the fire drill system, the trainee can virtually operate the simulative hand-held fire extinguisher according to the displayed virtual fire scene so that the virtual fire scene can change, and an accident scene is truly restored to the maximum extent.
