Abstract

The invention discloses a drought-resisting and water-saving method for triticeae crops in a river valley region of Tibet, and relates to the technical field of agricultural irrigation. The method comprises the steps of dividing planting land into a sand-gravel layer, a mixed layer and a soil layer from bottom to top according to the soil properties 15-20 days before sowing the triticeae crops, wherein the height of the sand-gravel layer is 0.6 m-0.9 m, the height of the mixed layer is 0.3 m-0.6 m, and the height of the soil layer is 0 m-0.3 m; laying a plastic water-stop plate at the bottom of the sand-gravel layer, and filling the water-stop plate with sand and gravels; filling the mixed layer with original mixed layer soil and soil modifier; filling the soil layer with the original soillayer soil, crop straw and soil water-retaining agent; covering the top of the soil layer with black mulching film. The drought-resisting and water-saving method is particularly suitable for plantinghighland barley in the river valley region of Tibet, and has good effects of resisting drought and saving water.
