Abstract

The invention provides a forming process of a disk hub of a speed torque converter. The forming process is characterized in that the forming process comprises the following steps that 1, a bar material is provided; 2, billet forming is conducted on the bar material, and a billet material with the inclined surfaces at the two ends is obtained; 3, the billet material is cold-extruded by using a cold-extruding die with a first predetermined die cavity, and a billet part with the contour of a head part and a rod part is obtained; 4, the billet part is cold-extruded by using a cold-extruding die with a second predetermined die cavity, and a billet part with an inner cavity formed in the head part is obtained; 5, the billet part is placed in a formed die and cold-extruded to obtain a formed product; and 6, the formed product is normalized by using a continuous normalizing furnace. Compared with a hot forging technology in the prior art, the forming process only needs three times cold extrusion to complete machining and forming of the disk hub of the speed torque converter, the extra turning process is omitted, the production efficiency is improved, and the production cost is reduced; andin addition, the product is formed by using a cold extruding technology, an internal metal structure of the product can be more dense, and the strength of the product is improved.
