Abstract

The invention discloses a V2V method of realizing migration across virtualization platforms, belongs to the technical field of cloud computing management, and aims to solve technical problems that virtual machines of all manufacturers cannot be flexibly converted and do not support mutual migration between the virtual machines of all the manufacturers. The adopted technical solution is that according to the method, V2V tools are integrated on a unified management node, multiple choices are given when a user clicks on migration, the different V2V tools are called through choices of the user, and migration operations of a virtual machine among the multiple platforms are realized. The method includes the following specific steps: (1), building an environment, and deploying the management nodeand computing nodes; (2), installing a qemu-img program on the computing nodes, and deploying and calling the qemu-img program on the management node; (3), deploying storage and a network, and creating virtual machines on the different computing nodes; and (4), adopting cold migration of the virtual machine or hot migration of the virtual machine to complete migration of the virtual machine amongthe platforms.
