An intelligent video/audio observation and identification database system may define a security zone or group of zones. The system may identify vehicles and individuals entering or exiting the zone through image recognition of the vehicle or individual as compared to prerecorded information stored in a database. The system may alert security personnel as to warrants or other information discovered pertaining to the recognized vehicle or individual resulting from a database search. The system may compare images of a suspect vehicle, such as an undercarriage image, to standard vehicle images stored in the database and alert security personnel as to potential vehicle overloading or foreign objects detected, such as potential bombs. The system may track individuals or vehicles within a zone or between zones. The system may further learn the standard times and locations of vehicles or individuals tracked by the system and alert security personnel upon deviation from standard activity.

In an embodiment the method comprises the steps of a) generating at least one view of a portion of the spinal canal in the region of interest; b) compressing the dural sac in the region of interest by injecting a fluid to form a safety zone and establish a working zone in the region of interest, the safety zone lying between the working zone and the dural sac; c) percutaneously accessing the epidural space in the region of interest on a first side of the median plane; d) inserting a tissue removal tool into tissue in the working zone on the first side of the median plane; e) using the tissue removal tool to percutaneously reduce the stenosis on the first side of the median plane; and f utilizing the at least one view to position the tissue removal too during at least a part of step d) and at least part of step e)

A vehicle on-board unit of a host vehicle is configured to activate its brake lights upon determining a vehicle traveling condition exists that is indicative of a potentially inadequate safety zone between the host vehicle and a following vehicle. The vehicle on-board unit has a vehicle traveling condition detecting section, an automatic brake light triggering section and a brake light activating section. The vehicle traveling condition detecting section detects the vehicle traveling condition indicative of a potentially inadequate safety zone. The automatic brake light triggering section outputs a brake light activation signal upon determining a predetermined condition has been satisfied based upon the detected vehicle traveling condition. The brake light activating section activates the brake lights without a braking operation being performed upon receiving the brake light activation signal from the automatic brake light triggering section.

The present invention is directed to increasing ight deck security in support of, and in conjunction with, the new FAA mandated bullet-proof cockpit door. This is accomplished by the Crupax Flight Deck Security System (FDSS), which provides a lightweight, flexible, mechanically strong isolation curtain which is mounted in the aircraft cabin at a predetermined distance from the cockpit door to act as a physical barrier that cannot be penetrated by unauthorized persons while the cockpit door is unlocked. A method and apparatus for providing warnings related to vehicle separation. The warning device of the invention generally includes a distance measuring sensor positioned on a rearward facing surface of a first vehicle, the distance measuring sensor being configured to measure a distance between the first vehicle and a second vehicle following the first vehicle, a microprocessor controller in electrical communication with the distance measuring sensor and being configured receive input from the distance measuring sensor and generate outputs therefrom, and a visual warning device positioned on the first vehicle and being in electrical communication with the microprocessor controller. A relatively low cost but effective vehicular safety system includes a navigational status determination system generating navigational status information, an alarm response system generating alarm responses in response to alarm response command information and a data processing system. The data processing system stores a list of safety zones having one or more safety conditions for each safety zone.
