Abstract

The invention discloses a three-dimensional cable model generation method and system. The method comprises the following steps of: setting cable parameters on a bracket assembled on the inner wall surface of a pre-built three-dimensional visualized power cable tunnel model by taking the power cable tunnel model as basis, and creating a three-dimensional cable model laid on the bracket by utilizingthe set cable parameters; and submitting the created three-dimensional cable model to a graph processor by utilizing a 3D engine and rendering the three-dimensional cable model by the 3D engine so asto generate a three-dimensional cable model image. According to the method and system, the real representation of cables is realized through creating the three-dimensional cable model; and compared with the traditional two-dimensional cable models, the method and system have the effect of greatly improving the visualization effect of the cable model so as to assist the planning and design of thecables.
