Abstract

The invention provides a charge and discharge control device and method. The charging and discharging control device divides a storage capacity of a storage battery into a reserve capacity and a plurality of preset discharge capacities corresponding to a plurality of dispatching time points, wherein each dispatching time point corresponds to a dispatching time interval and corresponds to a preset discharge power. The charging and discharging control device individually receives a load parameter of an electric circuit at each scheduling time point, wherein each of the load parameters carries a load power of the electric circuit. The charging and discharging control device further performs the following operations at each scheduling time point: (i) determining an actual discharge power provided by the storage battery to the power circuit according to a scheduling threshold value and the load power corresponding to the scheduling time point, and (ii) updating the reserve power according to the actual discharge power and the preset discharge capacity.
