The configuration method comprises the steps of judging whether a first block chainorganization has a target upper organization or not, wherein the first block chain organization has a first organization identifier and a first open certificate set associated with the first organization identifier; in response to operation of determining a second block chain organization as the target upper organization of the first block chain organization, adding at least one certificate in asecond open certificate set associated with a second organization identifier of the second block chain organization to the first open certificate set; and sharing configuration information in the block chains, wherein the configuration information comprises the first organization identifier, the first open certificate set, the second organization identifier and the second open certificate set.
