Embodiment Construction

[0046] Before discussing embodiments of the present aspect in more detail below, it should be pointed out that elements and structures of the same effect have the same reference numerals so that their descriptions are mutually applicable or interchangeable.

[0047] Figure 1a A method 100 for building a database is shown, comprising the steps of "receiving and recording 110 using a microphone 11 and signal reception" 120 . When the signal 120 has been received (see in place of decision 125 ), the record of step 110 is stored in the database, which is shown with step 130 . This step 130 essentially represents the end of the basic method 100 (see endpoint 135).

[0048] It is to be noted with respect to the "recording 110" step that, when recording, there may often be sub-steps of encoding. Encoding can also be implemented such that a so-called audio fingerprint is obtained, ie the derivation of characteristic parameters for the recording. This audio fingerprint is strongly c...

Abstract

Exemplary embodiments of the present invention provide a method for allocating sounds to at least one signal class (e.g. parasitic noise) of a plurality of signal classes (e.g. parasitic noise and non-parasitic noise). The method comprises the steps receiving environmental sounds and determining whether the environmental sounds or a parameter set derived from the environmental sounds comply / complies with a predefined rule which describes the signal class of a plurality of signal classes. Starting from this point, the step of logging the compliance with the predefined rule, recording the received environmental sounds for a rolling time window, deriving a parameter set from the environmental sounds for the rolling time window and storing the parameter set, or emitting an activation signal for an additional device to allocate a sound is carried out.

Description

technical field [0001] Embodiments of the invention relate to methods and apparatus for correlating / associating noise with at least one signal class of a plurality of signal classes and to methods and apparatuses for analyzing at least one of a plurality of signal classes A signal class noise method and apparatus. Background technique [0002] For example, noise can be subdivided into signal categories such as interfering noise and non-interfering noise. For example, a subdivision of more interfering noise and less interfering noise is also conceivable. [0003] It is not always easy to classify interfering noise. It is important to know that there are different factors that affect whether noise is perceived as disturbing noise. Birds are not subjectively perceived as disturbing noise, even when their chirping is loud (objectively measurable parameter: sound pressure level) and clearly different from other environmental noises (objectively measurable parameter: kinetic fa...
