Abstract

Provided is a mobile robot with a patrol function. The robot comprises an emission device, a detecting module, and a control module. The emission device is used to emit mark pieces. The detecting module comprises an image detecting unit and a vibration detecting unit. The image detecting unit is used to detect personnel in an environment state and generate image data which is associated with the personnel. The vibration detecting unit is used to generate a vibration degree value when the mobile robot with a patrol function vibrates caused by external forces. The control module is used to determine whether a database is stored with the image data, to control the emission device to selectively emit the mark pieces toward the personnel, and when the vibration degree value exceeds a first threshold value, the mobile robot with a patrol function releases a first burglary prevention material.
