The invention discloses a traditional Chinese medicine preparation for treatment of prostatitis, which is prepared from medicines including, by weight: a monarch drug: 2-4 parts of cornu cervi pantotrichum and 2-4 parts of American ginseng; a ministerial drug: 1-3 parts of cortex phellodendri, 1-4 parts of radix geutianae, 1-3 parts of coptis chinensis and 1-3 parts of rhizoma chuanxiong; an adjuvant drug: 1-2 parts of pangolin, 1-3 parts of achyranthes bidentata and 1-2 parts of white peony roots; a conductant drug: 1-2 parts of radix rehmanniae preparata, 1-3 parts of rhizoma alismatis, 1-2parts of angelica sinensis, and 1-2 parts of astragalus membranaceus. The traditional Chinese medicine preparation has functions of: tonifying kidney and replenishing essence, clearing heat to removetoxin, activating blood to break accumulation, and ensuring proper downward flow of the blood, and is mainly used for treating: deficiency of the kidney, downward flow of damp-heat (prostatitis), retention of urine (benign prostatic hyperplasia), and sexual dysfunction.
