The determination method of cognition state of students includes the steps: acquiring an answer information set which isformed by answering different test question information by each student; according to the answer information set, acquiring a test question parameter sub set corresponding to the answer information set from a preset cognition diagnosis model; according to a preset correction method, correcting the test question parameter sub set to obtain a first test question parameter sub set; substituting the first test question parameter sub set with the corresponding items in the preset cognition diagnosis model to obtain a first cognition diagnosis model; and according to the first cognition diagnosis model, determining a target cognition state sub set corresponding to each student. The determination method of cognition state of students corrects the test question parameter sub set to obtain the first cognition diagnosis model, and according to the first cognition diagnosis model, can realize comparison of the cognition state of students who does not take part in the same exam or answer the sametest question.
