The invention discloses a method for connecting a screen mirroring device based on a two-dimensional code. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, connecting the screen mirroring device with a display device comprising a display screen through a HDMI data line; secondly, generating one two-dimensional code on the display screen of the display device through a two-dimensional code generation system, wherein the two-dimensional code acquires device information of the screen mirroring device at the same time; then, scanning the generated two-dimensional code through a mobile terminal,and realizing wireless connection between a mobile terminal device and the screen mirroring device; and finally, projecting information on the screen of the mobile terminal to the display screen of the display device. According to the method provided by the invention, by scanning the two-dimensional code on a display, one-key connection between the mobile terminal and the screen mirroring device is realized, a content on the mobile terminal is projected on the display for being displayed, change of displaying from a small screen to a big screen is realized, and better visual experience can bebrought to users; and with the method provided by the invention, steps of use of the conventional screen mirroring device can be simple and clear, and the mobile terminal can be quickly connected withthe screen mirroring device.
