The system comprises a detector and a data processing server in communication connection with the detector; the detector is used for detecting mac layer information of a terminal device with a wifi function enabled and uploading same to the data processing server; wherein the mac layer information comprises a mac address and a hotspotname of a wifi hotspot connected to the terminal device; the data processing server is used for acquiring a target hotspot name corresponding to the detector, and matching the hotspot name and the target hotspot name; and if the hotspot name is matched with the target hotspot name, the advertisement content is pushed to the terminal device based on the mac address. Thus, when the terminal deviceis connected to the designated wifi hotspot, the related advertisement content can be pushed to the terminal device, and advertisements are pushed for marketing touch and powder guiding on potential customers, thereby improving the pushing accuracy.
