Abstract

The invention provides a transient simulation-based method for simplifying series pipelines of a water supply pipe network. The method comprises the steps of identifying series pipeline metasystems ina pipe network model; determining simplification errors of the series pipeline metasystems; building an optimization objective function; calculating a weight coefficient; determining the series pipeline metasystems which can be simplified in advance; and calculating equivalent pipeline parameters of the series pipeline metasystems which can be simplified, and updating a series pipeline metasystemset and a simplification error set. The steps are repeated until no any series pipeline metasystem can be simplified. According to the method, the influence of series pipeline simplification on transient flow calculation analysis can be minimized; the series pipeline simplification errors can be subjected to quantitative evaluation through error parameters, thereby realizing effective control ofa simplification process; and the simplification is started for the series pipeline system with the minimum simplification error in the pipe network in sequence, so that the potential defect of remarkably reduced model accuracy due to conventional series simplification is effectively overcome, and the reliability and accuracy of the series simplification operation can be ensured.
