Abstract

A computer-implemented method and system for identifying a vehicle driver by a pattern of movement is provided; the method includes receiving at least one sensor signal from at least one wearable device. The method and system additionally include determining the pattern of movement based on data extracted from the at least one sensor signal and determining if the pattern of movement is consistentwith at least one driver movement pattern. The method and system further include identifying the vehicle driver based on the pattern of movement being consistent with the at least one driver movementpattern. The method and system also include controlling at least one vehicle system by executing vehicle settings associated with the identified vehicle driver.
