Abstract

The invention discloses a device identification method and apparatus, a storage medium and an electronic device. The method can be applied to the electronic device, the electronic device provides first detection voltage for a preset pin of its Type-C interface, the preset pin is a non-configured channel pin, and when it is detected that a Type-C interface of an external device is accessed to the Type-C interface of the electronic device, the configured channel pin of the Type-C interface of the electronic device has no detection voltage. The method comprises the steps that when an instructionfor indicating identification of the external device is received from a user, the preset pin is grounded; when it is detected that the preset pin is grounded, a trigger signal is generated; accordingto the trigger signal, second detection voltage is provided for the configured channel pin and is greater than the first detection voltage; after the second detection voltage is provided for the configured channel pin, the external device is identified through the configured channel pin.
