Abstract

The invention relates to an information symbol detection method for an environment backscattering system based on multiple antennas. The environment backscattering system comprises an ambient radio frequency signal source, an electronic tag and a reader, wherein the reader has M receiving antennas, and M is not less than 2. The method comprises the steps that 1), the ambient radio frequency signalsource transmits an environment radio frequency signal; 2), the electronic tag is mapped to a reflected or non-reflective ambient radio frequency signal according to a transmitted binary symbol, wherein the binary symbol in the electronic tag includes a known preamble symbol and a to-be-determined information symbol; 3), the M receiving antennas of the reader receive the signals, estimate the decision threshold using the preamble symbol, and use an energy detector to determine the information symbol transmitted by the electronic tag.
