The loudspeaker can provide an asymmetrical beam pattern which can be selected and optionally programmed. The choice of beam pattern may be different from other beam patterns produced by the loudspeaker. The beam coverage pattern can be different for different sets of drivers in the loudspeaker. Individual feed circuits (eg, multistage circuits, delay networks, or transmission lines) can control the beam pattern of each set of drivers in the loudspeaker. The feed circuit may have individual circuit stages for each driver, eg delay stages. For example, delay stages can be different from each other and programmable by selecting circuit elements to be active in individual stages.
