The method comprises the following steps of selecting a healthy live dog, performing pupil dilating with atropine sulfate on the day before model making, performing pupil dilating once again with the atropine sulfate before model making, performing general anaesthesia on the live dog before model making, then performing needle insertion along the edge of corneosclera, penetrating anterior lens capsules through the pupil, injecting 0.12-0.18mL of 3% hydrogen peroxide into crystalline lenses in multiple points, andafter 10 days, successfully constructing the cataract model for the live dog. According to the method disclosed by the invention, an H2O2 solution having specific dosage and concentration is injectedinto the crystalline lenses of the live dog, and the cataract model is successfully established in the live dog.
