Abstract

The invention provides a job scheduling method and device, equipment and a storage medium, and the method is used for scheduling a plurality of jobs in a scheduling queue, and comprises the steps: detecting resources required by a head job in the scheduling queue; if the resources required by the head job are more than cluster idle resources, determining target jobs of which the required resourcesare less than the cluster idle resources from the rest jobs except the head job in the scheduling queue; and calling the cluster idle resources to process the target job. According to the method andthe device, the scheduling of the job with less resource demand after the head job is blocked due to the fact that idle resources cannot meet the demand of the head job can be avoided, the idle resources of the cluster can be fully utilized, and the resource utilization rate of the cluster and the scheduling efficiency of the job are further improved.
