A method for operating a transmission point, comprising: transmitting a plurality of first directional reference signals and a plurality of second directional reference signals, wherein the plurality of first directional reference signals scan different first beams, and the plurality of second directional reference signals scan different first beams of the first plane; receiving a request and first feedback for the transmission point to start operating in the second plane from a receiving point , the first feedback indicates at least one first beam of the first plane and at least one beam group of the second plane, wherein at least one of the at least one first beam and the second plane The measurement of the reference signal in the beam set satisfies a first selection criterion.
