Abstract

The invention discloses a lip-care composition and a preparation method thereof. The lip-care composition comprises effective components including, by weight, 50-80 parts of C10-30 acid cholesterol/lanosterol mixed ester, 1-40 parts of vegetable oil and 5-25 parts of wax. The preparation method of the lip-care composition includes steps: mixing, to be specific, heating and dissolving wax, adding vegetable oil, mixing, heating to 75-90DEG C, and keeping the temperature for at least 30min to obtain a premix; mixed ester adding, namely adding the C10-30 acid cholesterol/lanosterol mixed ester into the premix, and mixing to obtain the lip-care composition. Due to high content of the C10-30 acid cholesterol/lanosterol mixed ester, the chemical structure of the lip-care composition is similar tothat of skin sebum, high hydrophilicity is realized, a stratum corneum not sticky to human skin is formed on the skin, regulation of skin moisture content and skin barrier function can be realized, and a high value in dry skin care is achieved.
