The invention discloses a patent recommendation method and device based on semantic link heterogeneous information network embedding. The method comprises the steps that (1) for each patent in a patent database, taking patents with the highest text similarity with the patents and corresponding to a first preset number of sequence as semantic links, wherein the patent database comprises examined patents; 2) constructing a heterogeneous information network corresponding to the patent database according to the semantic link relationship and the description item information, and connecting each node in the heterogeneous information network by using the edge; 3) obtaining feature vectors of patent nodes in the heterogeneous information network; and 4) obtaining cosine similarity between the feature vector of each node and the feature vector of the patent node corresponding to the examined patent, and taking the patent with the highest cosine similarity and corresponding to the former secondpreset number of sequence as the to-be-recommended patent of the examined patent.
